Content Software Engineer Role

What we're looking for

Someone who knows how to code but also believes that content is the most powerful tool to build a business in 2024.

You don’t over engineer things, and you know how to work with AI - APIs like OpenAI or Claude. You are fast and have a bias for action, you are OK with breaking things and you don’t write tests.

At Starter Story we have millions of words written by real founders who built real businesses. We take that data and use AI to create content optimized for search engines. We are not asking OpenAI to generate a generic article, but rather “building” articles, sections of content, and features that leverage our millions of first-party data points.

Ideal candidate:

• Someone who knows Ruby on Rails
• Someone that loves content and wants to eventually build their own business around it
• Someone who believes AI can be used to create better content than humans
• Bonus: you know some stuff about SEO
